Role: Warehouse Manager - Automotive Manufacturing
Location: South Birmingham
Working hours: Monday to Thursday- 8am- 5pm, Friday 8am- 12:30pm!
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000
Benefits: £7500 car allowance, Private medical care, plus other benefits.

Role Overview
As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the warehouse operations, managing a team of 2 direct reports and 20 indirect reports. You'll be responsible for driving continuous improvement in their processes and procedures while ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the warehouse team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Optimize warehouse operations, leveraging our existing automation systems for goods in and out
- Conduct regular reviews of risk assessments and implement necessary changes
- Enhance health and safety management practices across the warehouse
- Manage the Stores team effectively, ensuring efficient inventory control
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in the automotive manufacturing sector. Working with high volume components coming into the warehouse.
- Strong people management skills with a track record of leading and developing teams
- Expertise in process improvement and lean management principles
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessment procedures
- Experience with automated warehouse systems and inventory management software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
